FIRST TIME?

Ready in a few steps.

Open this page on the Android phone where you want to install the app.

  1. Download and install

    Tap the download button, then open Field-Jobs.apk. If Android asks, allow this browser to install apps and tap Install.

  2. Sign in to FibreJam

    Open Field Jobs and use your usual work login. Leave Keep me signed in enabled if you want to keep the session on your phone.

  3. Load your jobs

    Let the app finish reading your tickets. Tap Use location for nearby sorting, and Refresh whenever you need the latest list.

Does this work on an iPhone?

This version is for Android only. An APK cannot be installed on an iPhone.

Does the download include someone else’s login?

No. The download contains the app, with no customer records or account credentials. Each person signs in to FibreJam with their own account. This website does not ask for your work password.

How does nearby sorting work?

Appointment date always comes first. Within each date, the app uses approximate straight-line distance, not driving time. Android’s address lookup service locates the addresses. Jobs without a distance remain visible.

About this first release

Version 0.1.0 is an early release, distributed directly as a development-signed APK. Installation and startup have been checked on an Android phone; the importer and sorting have automated checks. Device-specific sign-in, location and navigation may need further testing.

FibreJam can expire saved sessions, and changes to its pages may require an app update. New versions will be available on this page.
